If you have a more complex question regarding your financial aid award that cannot be answered over the phone or via email, we encourage you to schedule a virtual appointment with our office.
Applying for Financial Aid
The most important steps you can take in applying for financial aid are to complete your College Scholarship Service Profile (“CSS Profile”) and your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (“FAFSA”). It’s important to make your best case for scholarships, grants, loans, and/or work awards by completing these financial aid applications as early as possible.

If you are applying for financial aid, your application status page will display a financial aid checklist indicating whether or not we've received your CSS Profile and FAFSA.
If you intend to apply for need-based financial aid but have not completed the CSS Profile and FAFSA, please do so as soon as possible.
Timeline for Financial Aid Notifications
Please note that the timeline for your financial aid award notification depends on your admission application plan.
If you have already submitted your CSS Profile and FAFSA, you can expect to receive your financial aid award notification according to the timeline below.
- Early Action - Late January/Early February
- Early Decision - Late December
- Early Decision II - Mid-February
- Early Action II - Mid-March
- Regular Decision - Mid March
