Biography

Piyush Chandra is an Associate Professor of Economics at Stonehill College. He earned his MA in economics from Delhi School of Economics and a PhD in economics from University of Maryland, College Park. Before joining Stonehill College in Fall, 2014 he had served as an Assistant Professor of Economics at Colgate University since 2007. Chandra's fields of specialization are International Trade, Political Economy of Trade Policy, and Industrial Organization. His current research focuses on WTO sanctioned trade measures such as anti dumping duties and  countervailing duties. His publications include articles in Journal of Public Economics, Journal of International Trade and Economic Development, and World Development.

Chandra teaches International Economics, Development Economics, and Economic Statistics as well as both Economic Principles courses.
