“Having the opportunity to receive these scholarships means a lot to me and my family. My family moved to the United States from Haiti after the 2010 earthquake. As a single mom, it is difficult for my mother to pay tuition for two college students. Receiving these scholarships from Stonehill has alleviated a lot of stress on my family. It has also allowed me to focus more on my studies as I do not have to work as much.”
