Stonehill Scholarships
Scholarships come from gifts made to the College endowment or from annual gifts by donors to Stonehill. Many scholarships follow specific qualification criteria based on academic standing, major of study or extracurricular involvement. Stonehill College has over 250 endowed and restricted scholarships and this number continues to grow each year thanks to our generous donors.
Stonehill’s mission is to educate our students to think, act, and lead with courage to create a more just and compassionate world. Your gift to scholarships facilitates our efforts to expand our students’ minds, broaden their experiences, and hone their capabilities through critical thinking, free inquiry and the interchange of ideas.
A Special Message of Gratitude From Scholarship Recipients
We are disappointed that we were not able to gather on Sunday, April 19 for this year's Annual Benefactor & Student Scholarship Dinner. Please enjoy these messages of gratitude from Lucas and Rama, two of our student scholars.
I applied for many scholarships and said a prayer before sending them in; I also worked all summer anticipating my financial aid letter. When I received my financial aid award letter I remember nearly crying for joy at the generosity of your scholarship, along with a few others, because it meant that I could return back to my second home: Stonehill College.
You have been a blessing in my life and you have made it possible for me to succeed. My family here and in Africa greatly appreciate your wonderful generosity. My gratitude will never be forgotten, for your help in changing me into the kind of man I am today and for awarding me the Ronald E. Burton Scholarship.
