Catholic Educators Collaborative at Stonehill College

The Catholic Educators Collaborative at Stonehill College (CECSC) is a school-college partnership sponsored by Stonehill College and the Catholic schools of southeastern Massachusetts. Stonehill provides administrative support and hosts the CECSC Professional Development Series.

CECSC Professional Development Series

Each year, the Catholic Educators Collaborative at Stonehill College (CECSC) presents a series of three professional development workshops for teachers and staff at PK-12 Catholic schools in southeastern Massachusetts. Innovative programs on timely and relevant educational topics are presented. The workshop series also provides opportunities for networking among the schools and with Stonehill College.

The 2019-2020 workshop series theme was “Our Schools Today: Meeting the Needs of All Students”. Descriptions of the three workshops and registration information can be found at CECSC 2019-2020 workshops.

Mission

The mission of the Catholic Educators Collaborative is to support Catholic educators, through their own professional development, as they provide a value-centered education for students.

To achieve this end, each year the CECSC presents innovative programs on relevant educational topics. The workshop series also provides opportunities for networking among the schools and with Stonehill College. Together we find strength in facing today’s challenges and continually work to better serve the students entrusted to our care.
