Undergraduate Tuition 2023-2024

Full-Time Students entering Stonehill in the fall 2022 semester and after

  • Students taking 12 to 17 credits are considered full time and are charged  $53,300 for the year, $26,650 per semester.  The per credit rate of $1777 is based on 15 credits.
  • Campus Fee (non-refundable): $1200 per year, $600 per semester
    • The Campus Fee helps the College provide students with a variety of additional services that enhance their academic and student life experiences. Fees provide access to services such as the academic success center, medical and counseling services, career services, and the tutoring and writing center. In addition, the fee helps cover costs associated with orientation and FYE activities, campus-wide Wi-Fi, free tickets to Stonehill College athletic events, free printing up to 1,000 black-and-white pages each academic year, and participation in intramural and recreational activities.

  • Student Activity Fee (non-refundable): $200 per year, $100 per semester included in tuition

Full-Time Students entering Stonehill prior to the fall 2022 semester

  • Students taking 12 to 17 credits are considered full time and are charged  $52,300 for the year, $26,150 per semester.  The per credit rate of $1743.33 is based on 15 credits.
  • Student Activity Fee (non-refundable): $200 per year, $100 per semester included in tuition

All students are charged $1777 per credit for credit overloads.

BILLING SCHEDULE

  • Half the annual costs for tuition, housing and meal plan are billed prior to the start of each semester.
    • The fall bill is emailed in early July; payment is due by August 1.
    • The spring bill is emailed in early December; payment is due by January 2.

Part-Time Students - 2023/2024

  • Tuition for students taking fewer than 12 credits: $1,777 per credit
  • Students must be approved by the Office of Academic Services & Advising to take fewer than 12 credits in a semester.

Wintersession 2024

  • Tuition: $1,716 per 3-credit course
  • Payment for winter session is due at the time of registration.
  • Tuition charge is the same for both online and in-person classes.

Summer 2023

  • Tuition: $1716 for a 3-credit course and $2288 for a 4-credit course
  • Payment for the summer semester is due at the time of registration.
  • Tuition charge is the same for both online and in-person classes.

Summer 2023 Internships

  • Students completing their internships in the summer semester and receiving credit in the summer semester will be charged $1716 for a 3-credit internship.
  • Students choosing the summer/fall split internship option will do their internships in the summer, but receive credit in the fall semester. Credits received in the fall semester are subject to the overload billing policy as noted here.

 Miscellaneous Non-Refundable Fees

  • Student Health Insurance for 2023/2024:  $3,869  (Student health insurance may be waived at University Health Plans by providing proof of adequate insurance coverage.)
  • Study Abroad Fee: $750 per semester

  • Resident Parking Decal: $150 per year
  • Commuter Parking Decal: $75 per year
  • Additional Parking Decal: $10 each, per year

  • Late Payment Fee: 1.0% per month (Assessed on outstanding balance.)
  • Room Guarantee Charge: $100 per year. 

(Assessed to all students entering the housing lottery for the upcoming year and all students residing on campus for at least one semester during the year.)

  • Late Registration Fee: $50 

(Assessed to students who do not register during the designated course registration period each semester.)

  • Returned Check Fee: $30 per occurrence
  • Dorm Damage Fee: varies
  • Lab Fees:  $100 for BIO 101, 102, 203, 204, 211, 212 and CHM 113, 221, 222, 232, 244
  • Music Course Fees: $550 per course for studio instruction
  • Software Technology Fee:  Business majors (except Economics and Health Care) $100 per semester
  • Software Technology Fee:  Economics Majors $50 per semester
  • Other course fees may be applied as listed in the course catalog
  • Graduation Fee: $200 includes diploma, cap and gown, and participation in Commencement related events such as Senior Formal, Alumni Barbecue, and Commencement Eve Reception. The fee is non-refundable regardless of participation levels.

  • Traffic Violations: varies
