Medical Coverage
Medical coverage is offered through Blue Cross Blue Shield of MA (BCBSMA)
Stonehill College offers three medical plan options: Network Blue HMO, Advantage Blue EPO and Blue Care Elect Saver PPO with Health Savings Account (HSA).
Health Savings Account (HSA)
Employees who enroll in the Blue Care Elect Saver Plan will automatically be enrolled in a Health Savings Account (HSA) through Health Equity.
Contributions to an HSA are tax-free, they grow tax-free, and can be used for eligible medical expenses tax-free.

EyeMed Vision Care
This comprehensive vision program offers generous benefits for office visits, lenses, contact lenses, frames and more. It provides the freedom to choose from an extensive network of private practice optometrists, ophthalmologists, or opticians, or from the nation's top optical retailers, including LensCrafters, Pearl Vision Centers, Sears Optical, Target Optical, and JC Penney Optical.

Delta Dental
The Delta Dental PPO Plus Premier program combines two of Delta Dental's national networks, Delta Dental PPO and Delta Dental Premier, giving you access to dentists that participate in both. You'll receive the greatest value when you visit a Delta Dental PPO dentist because they generally accept lower fees for their services. And if you choose to visit a dentist who participates in the Delta Dental Premier network, you'll also enjoy savings. (Dependents are eligible until age 26). Over 96% of the state's dentists are covered under this plan.

COBRA
COBRA is a continuation coverage, which is a temporary extension of coverage under one or more of the Plans. COBRA continuation coverage generally last for up to a total of 18 months. At Stonehill College, COBRA protection extends to these healthcare plans: Stonehill College Major Medical Plan, Stonehill College Dental Plan, Stonehill College Flexible Benefits Plan (med-Cap feature).

Flexible Spending
Flexible Spending is a voluntary plan for which we offer two types of Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA):
Medical Care FSA Plan
This is an account used to pay for medical/dental/vision and other eligible health related expenses, for you and your family in the upcoming plan year, that are not covered under any insurance program tax free. Eligible expenses typically include: deductibles, co-payments, prescription drugs, medical, dental, and/or vision services and supplies.
Dependent Care FSA Plan
This is an account is used to pay for dependent care (child or adult) expenses tax free. Some eligible expenses include: after-school care, summer day camp and nursery school, to name a few.

Life Insurance
Stonehill offers life insurance at no cost to you through Prudential.
Long-Term Disability
Stonehill offers this benefit through Prudential at no cost to you. There is a 120-day waiting period and eligible employees receive 66.66% of their base salary should they become fully disabled and unable to work. For more information, visit: Prudential Life
Colonial Life
