Leadership Is An Act Of Caring. Care A Lot.
Pictured above: Dr. Jasmine Khubchandani ’12 is in her fifth year of general surgery residency at Massachusetts General Hospital. She is passionate about ending healthcare disparities and hopes her research will empower vulnerable and underserved individuals.
Whether in the classroom, clubs or a semester on another continent, Stonehill students are constantly making discoveries about themselves and what makes them care. As that picture becomes clearer, they begin building the skills and knowledge that will allow them to maximize their impact on those issues.
It may not always feel like it, but it’s the beginning of leadership – not leadership driven by ego, but leadership driven by the knowledge that the ability to step up in support of goals and issues important to you is priceless.
Whether they seek to drive the changes that are coming or to help make sure no one gets left behind, Stonehill provides the foundation to maximize our students' impact.
David Simas ’92 talks about how Stonehill prepared him for his roles in the White House and as chief executive officer for Obama Foundation
