A Data Analytics Master’s Degree With a Focus in Business Analytics
Stonehill's Master of Science (M.S.) in Data Analytics program ensures students gain the in-demand skills and knowledge necessary to analyze data and extract actionable information from complex data sets to support informed decision-making across a variety of industries.
The business analytics specialization prepares business professionals in marketing, finance, operations and management to use analytical thinking and data insights to inform strategy, drive data-driven decision making and improve business results.
Through this specialization, students will learn to:
- apply analytical methods and business intelligence tools to evaluate business performance, risks and opportunities, and support strategic, financial and marketing decision-making
- develop and communicate data-informed business strategies and recommendations
that clearly translate analytical insights into actionable decisions aligned with
organizational goals - apply analytics in business contexts with a strong emphasis on governance, ethical
considerations and the responsible use of data in organizational decision-making
All data analytics master’s students are required to take five core courses as well as five specialization courses to complete their program. For the business analytics specialization, courses such as Financial Management & Modeling and Visualization & Digital Storytelling ensure students gain in-demand expertise to leverage data for business decision-making and strategic planning.
