Course Overview

Calculus of a single variable: techniques of integration, applications of integration, infinite sequences and series, Taylor series, first order differential equations, parametric curves, polar coordinates, polar curves. 

Course Advantages

For each topic, instruction is provided in the form of short videos and lecture notes, so that students can choose what format works best for them. Students will get frequent feedback to help them improve and master the course topics.

Additional Information

Due to the amount of content in calculus, students should expect to spend about 20-25 hours each week to master the material. Depending on the level of preparation from a prior precalculus course, more than 25 hours may be required for some students.

Associate Professor of Mathematics
I grew up in Germany, but have been in the U.S. now for almost 20 years. I got my PhD at Penn State, where I was before coming to Stonehill. When I'm not teaching mathematics, I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, music and sports.
